Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Blobs game and this website, blobs.com, why we collect it and what choices you have. Blobs is made by HYPERINFRA (“we”, “us”).
The short version
- This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies.
- The game needs some information to work: your account, what you create and share, and details about your device.
- The game shows ads and measures crashes and usage with Google services.
- We do not sell your personal information.
This website
This website only shows pages: it has no sign-in and no forms, sets no cookies and uses no analytics. If you choose a language, your browser remembers the choice on your own device; it is never sent to us.
Like any website, its pages are delivered by a hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, which processes technical information such as your IP address, the page you asked for, the time and your browser type in order to deliver and protect the site.
The download buttons open Apple’s App Store or Google Play through a link at link.hyperinfra.com, and so do the social links. Once you reach a store or a social network, its own privacy policy applies.
Information the game collects
- Your account: your Player ID, an identifier that keeps your device signed in, and your email address if you add one (we use it to send sign-in codes).
- What you create and share: your Blobs and their names, your profile, chat messages, mail, groups, and the videos you submit to the Video Channel, with the YouTube or TikTok account you connect for it.
- Your activity: progress, rankings, Blobux and item records, purchases and exchanges. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we receive a confirmation, never your card details.
- Your device: device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, and where the app was installed from.
- Ads and measurement: the game uses Google AdMob to show ads, and Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand how the game is used and to fix crashes. These services may collect your device’s advertising identifier and information about how you use the game.
How we use it
- to run the game, your account and its features;
- to keep the game safe and fair, including finding cheating and abuse and acting on reports;
- to answer you when you contact us;
- to show ads, and to understand and improve the game;
- to meet our legal obligations.
Who sees it
Other players see what you choose to share in the game, such as your name, profile, Blobs and messages.
We use service providers who handle information on our behalf: Amazon Web Services (hosting), Google (ads, analytics, crash reports and email), Mailgun (sending sign-in codes), a translation service (only the text you choose to translate) and ExtraReward (only when you use the Reward Exchange). Apple and Google handle store purchases.
We share information with authorities only when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
Where it is processed
Our providers operate around the world, so your information may be processed outside your country. They protect it with the safeguards the law requires for such transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account exists. When an account is deleted, we delete or anonymise its personal information, except records we must keep for security, fraud prevention, accounting or legal reasons, such as purchase records. Messages you send us are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
- You can delete your account in the game or by contacting us: see Contact.
- On iPhone and iPad, the game uses your advertising identifier only if you allow tracking when asked. Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent to personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time in the game’s settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may ask to see, correct, delete or export your information, or object to how we use it. Requests are free: email support@blobs.com.
- You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Blobs is not meant for children under 13, or under the minimum age set in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect information with reasonable technical and organisational measures, but no system is completely secure. Please do not send passwords, sign-in codes or other sensitive information by email.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the game.
